Used in Giddings & Lewis CNC machine tool control systems, the DC 128 Input Board with part numbers 501-04537-01 and 502-03553-01 is a large-format logic board designed to handle 128 discrete DC input channels. The board carries the Giddings & Lewis logo and name in silkscreen on the component side, with both the assembly number 501-04537-01 and the schematic number 502-03553-01 clearly marked. Four edge connector slots along the bottom of the board provide the primary system interface, and a ribbon cable connector is present near the upper section of the PCB. The component side is densely populated with ICs, resistor networks, and passive components arranged in a structured grid layout. The reverse side shows clean through-hole solder joints consistent with factory assembly. Giddings & Lewis, now operating under the Fives Group, produced CNC and PLC control systems widely used in horizontal boring mills, machining centers, and other machine tools throughout the late 20th century. This board is compatible with Giddings & Lewis control systems that accept the 501-04537-01 assembly. The board is sold as removed surplus and is intended for use as a spare or replacement in compatible systems.
