The Industrial Encoder Corporation IH740.AB06R63.01024 is a heavy duty incremental hollow shaft encoder from the IH740 series, manufactured under the Global Encoder Solutions Group / W&S Messsysteme platform. The part number designates an IH740 housing with a 6 mm hollow shaft bore, R63 output configuration, and 1024 pulses per revolution. Serial number 21.1.5156.001 is shown on the nameplate. Supply voltage range is 4.75 to 30 VDC per manufacturer published specifications for the IH740 series, with RS 422 compatible push pull output and a maximum impulse frequency of 300 kHz.

The IH740 platform uses an aluminum cover and body with a stainless steel shaft, rated IP65 with a maximum mechanical speed of 6000 RPM. Output signals include A, A inverted, B, B inverted, and a Z reference pulse, with A leading B in the clockwise direction when viewed from the shaft side. Short circuit protection is integrated on the output stage.
