The Lafert ST100L S8 is a three phase induction motor manufactured in Italy and rated at 1.1 kW (1.5 HP). Nameplate data confirms a dual voltage configuration of 208 to 230 VAC delta and 440 to 460 VAC wye at 60 Hz, with corresponding full load current of 6.9 amps and 4.0 amps. Rated speed is 830 RPM and power factor is 0.62. The motor carries IEC 60034 compliance along with CSA and CE markings, with serial number 753266 stamped on the nameplate and date code 0910.
Construction is TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled) with an IP55 ingress protection rating, Class F thermal insulation with Class B temperature rise, S1 continuous duty rating, and a 40 degree C maximum ambient temperature. The frame is an IEC 100L size with a B5 style mounting flange featuring slotted bolt holes for adjustable positioning. A keyed output shaft is fitted to the drive end.
