Used in industrial tension and compression force measurement applications, this Loadstar Sensors RAS1 S-beam load cell kit is configured for a 40,000 lb (40K lb) full-scale capacity. The RAS1 is a tool steel S-beam type load cell with threaded mounting holes at each end for attachment of eye bolts or rod-ends, making it well suited for inline crane load monitoring, structural testing, cable tension measurement, and similar high-force applications. The kit includes the RAS1 S-beam load cell, a DI-1000U 24-bit USB load cell interface, a USB output cable, and associated hardware. A Chicago-branded 3/4 in. eye bolt is present in the case. The load cell interface (DI-1000U) is a 24-bit signal conditioner that connects directly to a PC via USB and appears as a virtual COM port, compatible with Loadstar's LoadVUE Pro software as well as third-party platforms such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, and custom applications. Accuracy class per manufacturer documentation is 0.02% of full scale. The entire kit is housed in a Pelican 1450 hard case with custom foam insert. A calibration sticker is present on the load cell bearing identification number F214932738 and a date of approximately December 14, and a second sticker partially legible as a calibration record with the same ID; current calibration validity is unconfirmed and should be verified before use in any traceable measurement application.
