The Magnetek PN-C79959 is a 14-bit Resolver I/O Card designed for use in Magnetek elevator drive systems. The card interfaces resolver-based motor feedback signals with the drive control system, converting analog resolver outputs to 14-bit digital position data for precise motor speed and position regulation. A Xilinx FPGA is visible on the primary side of the board and handles high-speed signal processing. The PCB also incorporates a DDC (Data Device Corporation) RDC-19222 resolver-to-digital converter chip, confirming the 14-bit resolver conversion function. An onboard toroidal transformer provides excitation for the resolver. Relay outputs with 12VDC coils are present on the board edge, along with multiple D-sub and screw terminal connectors for field wiring.
