The Marathon Motors K527A is a three phase general purpose AC induction motor built on a NEMA 48 frame with an open dripproof (ODP) enclosure. Model number 48T17D11010A. Rated for dual horsepower operation at 1/3 HP on 60 Hz service and 1/4 HP on 50 Hz service, with corresponding speeds of 1725 RPM and 1425 RPM. Dual voltage configuration supports 230/460V at 60 Hz and 190/380V at 50 Hz, with full load amperage of 1.2/0.6 A and service factor amperage of 1.4/0.7 A. Power output is rated at 0.25 kW / 0.19 kW. The motor carries a 1.35/1.0 service factor, NEMA Design B classification, Code M locked rotor, and Class B insulation. Average efficiency is 73.4/72 percent with power factor of 70.6/68. Rated for continuous duty (CONT) at 40 degrees C ambient with IP22 ingress protection and IM B3 mounting designation.
