Used in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and ultrapure water monitoring applications, the Mettler-Toledo Thornton 5000TOC is an online total organic carbon sensor designed for continuous, real-time detection of organic contamination in process water systems. The sensor employs UV oxidation combined with differential conductivity measurement to determine TOC concentration, operating without moving parts for reduced maintenance requirements. Input power is 100 to 130VAC at 50 to 60Hz, rated at 25W. Fuse rating is 250V 1.25A 5x20mm, Type T time lag. Maximum sample inlet pressure is 85 PSIG. The unit includes a UV lamp replacement access cover, flow control adjustment, sample inlet, and sample outlet connections on the housing. A multi-pin 770MAX connection port is present for integration with the Thornton 770MAX multiparameter analyzer transmitter. The unit carries CE marking and UL Listing as measuring equipment (26MR). Part number is 58 036 001. Serial number is 508040025. Manufactured in the USA. A calibration sticker visible on the front panel indicates the unit was last calibrated in September 2020 with a due date of November 2021.
