The 5000TOCi uses UV oxidation combined with differential conductivity measurement to determine TOC levels across a range of 0.05 to 2000 ppbC (per published manufacturer specifications). Input power is 100 to 130VAC, 50 to 60Hz, 25W. Fuse rating is 250V, 1.25A, 5x20mm, Type T (time lag). The unit features status indicators for UV Lamp ON, Sensor Status, Error, and Fault on the front panel.
The instrument complies with global pharmacopeia standards including USP, EP, JP, ChP, and IP for TOC instrumentation, making it applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing environments where regulatory compliance for water quality is required. No moving mechanical components are used in normal operation, which reduces routine maintenance requirements.
