The Mitsubishi Electric MDS-C1-SP-185-N is an 18.5 kW spindle drive unit from the MDS-C1 series, designed for use in CNC machining centers and high-performance spindle control applications. The nameplate identifies the input as 76A DC 270 to 311V with a secondary input of 0.2A single-phase 200 to 230V at 50/60 Hz. Output is rated at 63A three-phase 165V across a frequency range of 0 to 833 Hz. The unit carries serial number R0AKT023R049, hardware version Q, and a manufacture date of March 2024. Connectors visible on the front face include CN1A, CN1B, CN5, CN7, and CN8. Three-phase motor output terminals U1, V1, and W1 are accessible at the lower connection block.
