A large-range outside micrometer combining a Mitutoyo thimble and spindle assembly with a Scherr-Tumico cast iron frame, covering a 14 to 15 inch measurement range. The Mitutoyo spindle bears the label "14 inch" on its barrel grip. The Scherr-Tumico frame is marked "14-15 In." with the internal reference "W/G," and the brand diamond logo is cast directly into the frame body. The complete assembly is stored in a fitted wooden case with custom-cut cradles supporting both the frame and the spindle assembly.

The Mitutoyo 103-191 is a Series 103 mechanical outside micrometer with a ratchet stop thimble for consistent measuring force and repeatable readings. Resolution is 0.001 inch.
