Product Description
The Okuma MIV0404-1-B1 is a dual-axis AC servo inverter drive from the Okuma MIV series, designed for use in Okuma CNC machining centers. The unit carries part number MIV0404-1-B1 with serial reference 1006-2232-009-014, firmware boot version B:1.08, runtime version R:113, and unit firmware version U:1.2 as labeled on the unit type plate. It provides 4.0 kW capacity on both its L-axis and M-axis, operating from a 300V DC bus with 24V DC control power.
The drive incorporates an ICB1 inverter control board with Control ROM Type 1 and is compatible with Okuma BL and PREX series servo motors. Communication is handled through three integrated link channels: servo, encoder, and converter. The front panel includes dual seven-segment LED displays for status and alarm code indication, two banks of DIP switches, and SR and ST fiber-optic link ports. Motor output terminals are labeled XT2M for the M-axis and XT2L for the L-axis, each with three-phase power and ground connections. Multiple MIV units can share a common DC power supply, reducing cabinet space and wiring complexity. This is a first-generation MIV series module.
