Used in lathe boring operations, the Pafana SI-MDUNR-32-5 is a right-hand indexable boring bar with a 2 in. round shank designed for DNMG 543 series inserts. Manufactured in Poland by Pafana and distributed through Toolmex Corp. under the TMX brand, this bar carries the internal code number 6-770-232R as shown on the label. The SI-MDUNR designation identifies the toolholder style as a negative 3 degree end cutting edge angle configuration for use with negative 55 degree diamond-shaped DNM series inserts. The size 32 shank corresponds to the 2 in. shank diameter, and the 5 suffix indicates compatibility with DNMG 543 inserts, accommodating a larger insert size than the more common 432 seat. The bar is supplied with pin and clip clamping components as shown on the label. Insert carbide and shims are sold separately.
