The SEW-Eurodrive S37DRE80M4 is a helical-worm gearmotor combining an S37 helical-worm gear unit with a DRE80M4 three-phase AC motor in a compact right-angle configuration. The motor section is rated at 0.75 kW / 1 HP at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, with nameplate voltage options of 220-242V delta / 380-420V Y and 254-277V delta / 440-480V Y. At 60 Hz, the motor runs at 1755 RPM with full-load current of 1.99 A (high voltage) and 1.15 A (low voltage). The integral gear unit carries a 12.48:1 reduction ratio, yielding an output speed of approximately 141 RPM at 60 Hz. Output torque is rated at 40 Nm nominal and 33 Nm continuous per nameplate. The enclosure is rated IP55 TEFC with insulation class F (155°C), and the unit is designed for continuous duty (CONT) in an ambient temperature range of -20 to 40°C.
