The Spirax Sarco FT-125 is a float and thermostatic steam trap rated for a maximum operating pressure of 125 PSIG and a maximum allowable temperature of 450 degrees F. Stock number 50933 identifies this as the 1 inch NPT size in the FT series. The cast iron body features parallel double inlet and outlet pipe connections, visible on the top of the trap body, and stainless steel internals including the float mechanism and balanced pressure thermostatic air vent. The thermostatic air vent component allows the trap to discharge non-condensable gases and air on startup without steam loss, while the float mechanism enables continuous condensate discharge at steam temperature. This design makes the FT-125 well suited for process heat exchangers, unit heaters, air heating coils, steam main drip service, and applications served by modulating temperature control valves. The trap is serviceable without disturbing pipe connections. The nameplate is marked F17, indicating manufacturing revision F17. Made in the USA. Connection type is NPT threaded. Port protection plugs are present on both inlet and outlet connections.
