The Square D 5NR-401 is a general purpose solid core current transformer manufactured by Schneider Electric. It carries a 400:5 current ratio with a 600 volt insulation class and a 10 kV BIL rating. The window opening measures 1 9/16 inch inside diameter, allowing primary conductor pass through for ratio metering and protection applications. Frequency range covers 50 to 400 Hz, and the unit is rated 12.5 VA, single phase, NEMA 1. Secondary leads are 16 AWG, 24 inch length. The device is UL and cUL recognized. Window type construction places the current carrying conductor through the toroidal core, with the secondary winding terminated to flying leads for connection to instrumentation, relays, or metering equipment.
