The Square D VH221N is a VisiPacT heavy duty fusible safety switch rated at 30A, 240VAC and 250VDC, with 2 poles and a factory installed solid neutral. The unit ships in its original Schneider Electric retail packaging marked with part number VH221N, catalog reference 8740-7660, and the box label data 39470 and 15241121. Construction is a Type 1 steel enclosure intended for indoor surface mount applications, with a factory installed viewing window for visual blade position verification. The mechanism uses a quick make, quick break operating action with a dual cover interlock and a color coded indicator handle. As shipped, the switch accepts class H, K, and R fuse types and can be field modified to accept class J fuses. Fuses are not included.
