Square D Heavy Duty Safety Switch VH222NRB 240V

The Square D VH222NRB is a heavy duty fusible safety switch from the Schneider Electric VisiPacT line, rated for 60 amps at 240 VAC and 250 VDC. This 2 pole switch is supplied with a factory installed solid neutral and a 3 wire configuration, making it suitable for single phase service entrance, branch circuit isolation, and motor disconnect applications in both indoor and outdoor environments. The galvannealed steel Type 3R enclosure provides protection against falling rain, sleet, and external ice formation, and the factory installed viewing window allows quick visual verification of switch position without opening the cover. A quick make, quick break operating mechanism, dual cover interlock, and color coded indicator handle are standard. The unit accepts H, K, and R class fuses as shipped and can be field modified to accept Class J fuses. The short circuit current rating is 10 kA or 200 kA depending on the fuse class installed. Horsepower ratings include 3 HP at 240 VAC single phase, 7.5 HP at 240 VAC three phase, and 10 HP at 250 VDC. Wire range is AWG 14 to AWG 3 copper and AWG 12 to AWG 3 aluminum. The enclosure measures 14.84 in by 6.62 in by 5.11 in and is designed for surface mounting. UL listed under file E2875, the VH222NRB conforms to UL 98 and NEMA KS1 standards. Fuses are not included. The unit ships in original Schneider Electric retail packaging with the mounting hardware pack included.
