The Square D VH363N is a heavy duty fusible safety switch rated at 100 amps and 600 volts AC/DC, 50/60 Hz. Manufactured by Schneider Electric under the Square D brand, this three pole disconnect ships with a neutral installed and is housed in a Type 1 (NEMA 1) steel enclosure intended for indoor surface mounting. The unit features a factory installed viewing window that allows visual inspection of the internal blades and fuses without opening the cover.
VH363N accepts H, K, and R fuse types as shipped and can be field modified to accept Class J fuses. Fuses are not included with the switch. The enclosure carries cULus certification and NOM marking, and the assembly is built around a quick make, quick break operating mechanism with a dual cover interlock and a color coded indicator handle. Catalog short circuit current rating is 10 kA or 200 kA depending on the fuse class installed.
Common applications include service disconnects for motors, machine tools, HVAC equipment, lighting panels, and other commercial or industrial loads where a fusible 600V class disconnecting means is required by code. The VH363N replaces the older H363N within the Square D heavy duty line and is part of the VisiPacT viewing window family.
