The Timken 855 is a single row tapered roller bearing cone (inner ring assembly) from the Timken 800 series. Cataloged by Timken with a 3.5 in. straight bore, a 2.265 in. cone width, and a maximum shaft fillet radius of 0.310 in., the 855 is the inner race assembly designed to pair with a matching cup (outer ring) to form a complete TS type single row tapered roller bearing. The cone includes the cage and roller set. Per Timken published data, the 855 cone carries a dynamic radial rating of 103,000 lb and a static radial rating of 142,000 lb. Standard mating cup options include the 854 outer ring, forming the 855/854 assembly with outer dimensions of 88.9 x 190.5 x 57.15 mm in metric reference. Constructed of high alloy bearing steel and heat treated for wear resistance, the design accommodates combined radial and axial loads in opposing pair mounting configurations commonly used in heavy duty industrial gearboxes, axle systems, mining equipment, conveyor drives, and agricultural machinery.
