The Timken 384D is a double tapered cup component from the 300 series, designed to serve as the outer raceway in TDO (Tapered Double Outer) style tapered roller bearing assemblies. With an outside diameter of 3.9370 inches and a cup width of 1.6875 inches, it is used in conjunction with two single-row cone assemblies to form a complete double outer bearing capable of handling both radial and axial loads simultaneously.
