The TR UCF209-27 is a square 4-bolt flange mounted bearing unit with a 1-11/16 in. bore. The cast iron housing is marked F209 with the TR brand cast into the upper face, and the insert bearing is stamped UC209-27. The outer race of the insert is additionally marked CHINA. The unit uses a wide inner ring UC209-27 insert with two set screws on the extended inner ring for shaft attachment. A grease fitting port is present on the housing for field re-lubrication. The slinger-type contact seal is visible on the front face, and an anti-rotation pin prevents the insert outer ring from rotating within the housing. The bolt center distance is 4-1/8 in., and the housing accepts four 1/2 in. diameter mounting bolts. This unit is cross-referenced to Dodge F4B-SC-112, AMI UCF209-28, Browning VF4S-228, Link-Belt F3-U228N, NSK UCF209-28S, NTN UCF209-112T, and Sealmaster SF-1-3/4.
