Product Description

This is a Whittet-Higgins BL-24 Bearlok retaining nut. The box label reads BL-24, 1-PCS-LOT: 87833, with a barcode. The box carries the Whittet-Higgins name and address (Central Falls, Rhode Island, partly cut off in the photo). An orange instruction sheet inside the ring is headed with the name BEARLOK. The nut itself has no markings visible in the photos, and no size or shaft dimensions are shown, so none are listed.

The nut is a black ring with internal threads and several socket-head cap screws spaced around the face, with notches cut into the outer edge. The box is old and shows dirt, creasing, torn edges and red staining.
