Used in industrial DC motor control applications requiring fully regenerative four-quadrant operation, the Bardac PLX145/330 is a digital 3-phase DC drive rated for 100 HP at 240V DC output and 200 HP at 500V DC output. The unit accepts a 3-phase AC input at 230V or 460V and delivers up to 330A armature output current with a 16A field supply. Maximum AC input current is rated at 270A per the nameplate.
The PLX145/330 belongs to Bardac's PLX Series of fully digital DC drives, which spans from 12A to 2250A in five compact chassis sizes. This unit is a Frame 2 open-chassis configuration. The drive.web distributed control module is visibly installed, providing Ethernet-based peer-to-peer connectivity and remote configuration capability. Fuse specifications per nameplate include Bussman FWH350A and FWH20A14F, Gould A50P350 and A50P20, and Littelfuse L50S350 for 3-phase and control circuits respectively.
The PLX series supports a broad AC input voltage range of 12V to 500VAC as standard, with built-in programmable control functions including PID, winder control, and orientation. The drive is compatible with Bardac's savvy configuration and diagnostics software platform. This unit ships as removed from service and has not been tested by the seller.
