A fully digital 4-quadrant regenerative reversing DC drive from Bardac Drives, the powerPLX40/99 is rated for 99 amps armature current at a maximum armature voltage of 500VDC. Three-phase input power is rated at 80 amps maximum at 460/230VAC ±10%, 50/60Hz. Control power is 1 amp at 120VAC (60Hz) or 110VAC (50Hz). Field supply is rated at a maximum of 5 amps. The unit is assembled in the USA and carries model designation powerPLX40/99. At 25HP on 240V and 60HP on 480V supply, this drive covers a wide range of DC motor applications.

The powerPLX variant includes the drive.web integrated Ethernet interface, visible on the front panel with its LCD display and four-way navigation button. Internal construction includes dual Matsushita SF60 DC brushless cooling fans rated at 24VDC 90mA each (model ASF692069), an integrated AC line contactor (ABB CAL5-11 auxiliary block visible on rear), input fusing, and power semiconductor devices mounted to a substantial heat sink assembly.
