Used in fluid control systems requiring servo-assisted shutoff, the Burkert 6281EV A1/2 FKM BR is a 2/2-way normally closed diaphragm solenoid valve with a brass body and FKM (Viton) diaphragm seal. The 1/2 in. NPT port connections and 232 PSI (PN 16) maximum pressure rating make it well suited for water, steam-compatible, and chemically aggressive media applications where FKM elastomers are required.

The solenoid coil is rated at 120V AC, 50-60Hz, drawing 8 watts. The valve operates on a servo-assisted principle, requiring a minimum differential pressure for full opening. Internally, the diaphragm is actuated by the pressure differential across the valve body in combination with the solenoid pilot, a common design for larger-orifice applications where direct-acting operation would require significantly more coil power.

Serial number 00303680 is visible on the coil housing label. The valve is CE marked and UL Listed as a General Purpose Valve (UL file 4928).
