A complete fine boring head assembly from D'Andrea of Italy, configured for CAT50 spindles and capable of precision diametric adjustment across a 1.40 to 1.97 inch bore range. The assembly consists of three components: a CAT50 ANSI/INCH MHD50 arbor (partial part number 41.6...01.050.45 visible on nameplate), a D'Andrea RD 50/32.87 modular reducing adapter stepping from MHD50 to MHD32, and a D'Andrea IRM 32 fine finish boring head with a graduated micrometer dial calibrated at 0.015 inch increments. The IRM 32 head carries a single carbide insert cartridge and includes a lock screw for securing the adjusted position. All three components are Made in Italy and bear D'Andrea markings and part numbers confirmed from the nameplates. The CAT50 taper features the MHD50 modular coupling interface as marked on the flange, and the RD 50/32.87 adapter connecting the MHD50 and MHD32 interfaces is engraved with the D'Andrea logo and part designation. The IRM 32 body is engraved with bore diameter range data and includes tolerance references. Insert is present in the cartridge. Compatible with machining centers equipped with ANSI CAT50 spindles requiring precision finish boring operations in the 35.5 to 50mm diameter range.
