Used in CNC machining centers requiring precision internal diameter work, the D'Andrea CAT50 modular rough boring system combines three components in a single assembly: a CAT50 MHD50 tool holder marked 416 50 01.050 49 with F.120 projection, a TS 32/32 rough boring head covering a bore range of 35.5mm to 50mm (approximately 1.4 to 2.0 inches), and an RD 50/32.87 reducing adapter connecting the MHD50 shank to the MHD32 boring head interface. All components are manufactured by D'Andrea in Italy and carry the D'Andrea logo and Made in Italy markings. The CAT50 taper shank interfaces with standard ANSI V-flange spindles, and the MHD modular connection system allows the boring head to be repositioned or exchanged independently of the holder. The TS 32/32 insert-style rough boring head uses SSCC 32 series cartridges, and one cartridge with an installed insert is visible in the photos. A second cartridge pocket is present. The RD 50/32.87 adapter is a standard D'Andrea reducing extension providing the connection between the MB50 modular face and the MB32 boring head. The complete assembly is sold as pictured, with carbide insert installed in one cartridge. Sold as a used assembly.
