The 687 series employs hermetic separation between the actuator and the wetted fluid path, making it suitable for corrosive, abrasive, and high-purity media. Published GEMÜ specifications list an operating pressure range of 0 to 10 bar (0 to 145 PSI) and a media temperature range of -10 to 100 degrees C, with sterilization capability up to 150 degrees C for CIP/SIP processes. Normally Closed, Normally Open, and Double Acting control functions are available within the 687 series. The valve body is compatible with multiple connection standards including DIN, ISO, ASME, and SMS.
