The 687 series employs hermetic separation between the actuator and the wetted fluid path, making it suitable for corrosive, abrasive, and high-purity media. Published GEMÜ specifications list an operating pressure range of 0 to 10 bar (0 to 145 PSI) and a media temperature range of -10 to 100 degrees C, with sterilization capability up to 150 degrees C for CIP/SIP processes. Normally Closed, Normally Open, and Double Acting control functions are available within the 687 series.
