Giddings & Lewis Operator Station Board, part number 501-04305-00, assembly number 503-16939-00-00. Board edge label reads "OP STATION BD" and "COMPONENT." Barcode label A94475 visible. This PCB is a control platform board from the Giddings & Lewis CNC machine tool control system, used in large-format CNC machine tools including vertical turning centers (VTL), horizontal boring mills, and machining centers. The board is populated with two Ericsson EriPower on-card DC/DC converter modules made in Sweden: PKA 2314 P (input +19 to +35V, output +12V, 30W) and PKA 2231 P (input +19 to +35V, output +5V, +12V, -12V, 25W). Additional visible components include two Magnecraft W174DIP-3 reed relays, a VITEC 542B892 transformer module, Magnecraft W174DIP relay, PE-51566X transformer, and supporting passive components. Connector J14 is present on the board edge along with labeled signal nodes for GND, +5V, +12V, -12V. The board carries edge connector positions consistent with the Giddings & Lewis VME or proprietary backplane architecture of the period. Giddings & Lewis (G&L) is a US-origin CNC machine tool builder whose controls are widely installed across heavy industrial machining environments.
