The valve body is a large-diameter single flange butterfly valve with an aluminum body and stainless steel disc, nominal size DN250 (approximately 10 in.). The pneumatic rack-and-pinion rotary actuator is labeled Krio-100x8 and drives the disc through a 90-degree open/close stroke. A visual position indicator on the actuator cap shows open and closed positions. The solenoid pilot valve controlling the actuator is a Shako BM520-02-S, rated DC24V at 4.8W, 120mA, IP65, voltage range DC20.4V to 26.4V, pressure range 1.5 to 8 kgf/cm2.
