The Siemens 3RT2017-2BB41 is a 3-pole IEC power contactor from the SIRIUS 3RT2 series, rated for AC-3 duty at 12A and 5.5 kW at 400V. The control coil operates on 24V DC, making it compatible with standard PLC output modules and DC control circuits. Load-side ratings extend to 600V AC, with published HP ratings of 3 HP at 230V, 7.5 HP at 460V, and 10 HP at 575V per the UL/CSA nameplate. The contactor includes one integrated 1NO auxiliary contact and uses spring-type terminal connections for toolless wire termination. Terminal wire acceptance ranges from AWG 20 to AWG 12. Short-circuit rating is 5 kA at 600V, with a maximum RK5 fuse of 45A and maximum circuit breaker of 50A. The unit is size S00 and mounts on standard DIN rail or surface.
