Used in medium to heavy industrial motor control applications, the Sprecher + Schuh CA6-210-EI is a three-pole, non-reversing IEC contactor rated for 210A continuous at AC-1 up to 1000V and 350A AC-1. The nameplate confirms 600 VAC max per UL/CSA requirements, with an AC-3 power rating of 67 kW at 230V, 70 kW at 240V, 118 kW at 400V, 132 kW at 415V, 150 kW at 500V, and 110 kW at 1000V. UL-listed for industrial continuous duty (EQ. 728B) and CE marked per IEC 60947-4-1 and EN 60947-4-1. The unit carries an impulse withstand voltage of 12 kV. HP ratings per the nameplate include 50 HP at 230V single phase and up to 200 HP at 575V three phase. The installed coil is the CRC6-210 electronic coil assembly rated 110V 50Hz and 127V 60Hz, which corresponds to the -11 series coil code. The electronic coil design reduces inrush current and permits direct interface with PLC output modules. Terminal connections require lugs from the HG420 series, torqued to 130-150 lb-in, or CA6-L420 lug kits at 375 lb-in for conductors from 2/0 through 600 MCM. The unit requires 75 degree C copper wire only. Max fuse rating is 500A; max circuit breaker rating is 300A. Series CA6 is a discontinued product line, now replaced by the CA9 series. The unit was manufactured in Switzerland and assembled in the Czech Republic per coil label markings. The contactor body shows three line-side terminals (1L1, 3L2, 5L3) and three load-side terminals (2T1, 4T2, 6T3) with large bus bar-style copper termination hardware visible on both line and load sides.
