The A.O. Smith Century II EPACT T46055 is a 5 HP three phase AC induction motor built on a NEMA 215T frame with a TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) enclosure. The nameplate lists dual voltage operation at 200, 230, and 460 VAC with a 60 Hz rated speed of 1160 RPM, and provides 50 Hz operation at 960 RPM. Full load amperage is rated 15.7/7.7 amps at 230/460V (60 Hz). Class F insulation supports a 40 degree C ambient and the motor carries an inverter duty rating, making it suitable for variable frequency drive applications across constant and variable torque loads. Drive end bearing is 6308 2Z/C3 and opposite drive end is 6208 2Z/C3, both sealed for service. The unit carries CSA, NRTL/C, and CE agency markings and is configured for continuous duty (CONT). Design Code B with NEMA premium efficiency at 87.5 percent at 60 Hz, and an 80.0 power factor.
