Rated at 460/230VAC 3-phase input with a maximum armature output of 500VDC and 123 amps, the Bardac powerPLX50/123 is a fully digital DC drive from the PLX Series, capable of 35HP at 240VDC and 75HP at 480VDC. The drive accepts 3-phase power at 100 amps maximum and 460/230VAC plus or minus 10% at 50/60Hz. Control power input is 1 amp at 120VAC/60Hz or 110VAC/50Hz. Field supply is rated at a maximum of 5 amps. The PLX Series is a compact, fully digital drive platform covering models from 12A through 2250A output current, with a versatile input voltage range of 12V to 500VAC as standard. This unit includes an integrated digital control board with onboard terminal strip connections numbered 8 through 53 as visible in the photos, along with a power section featuring SCR power devices on a heat sink assembly and an integrated input contactor with fusing in the lower chassis. The unit ships with the original Bardac Drives PLX Series technical manual addendum for application software Version 5.12, manual number HGS01442. The unit is assembled in the USA per the nameplate.
