A BIG-PLUS CAT50 right angle head from BIG Daishowa, model BCV50-AG90/NBS10W-230. The unit uses BIG Daishowa's BIG-PLUS dual-contact spindle interface, which provides simultaneous taper and flange contact for improved rigidity and reduced runout compared to standard CAT50 tooling. The output chuck is a New Baby Super (NBS10W) collet system, offering high-precision clamping for small-diameter tooling. The nameplate confirms a 1:1 speed ratio and a maximum rotational speed of 6,000 RPM in both forward and reverse directions. The 90-degree output orientation allows machining of features on faces perpendicular to the main spindle axis without repositioning the workpiece. Gauge length is 230 mm. The body housing carries the internal reference LBH144RML and bears BIG Daishowa's "BIG PLUS SPINDLE SYSTEM" engraving on the shank collar. Output end carries a Daishowa-marked New Baby collet nut assembly.
