The Marco Fluid Tech UP3 is a self-priming 12V DC bronze gear pump rated for up to 4 GPM flow and a maximum pressure of 29 PSI (2 bar). Carrying part number 164 00 12, this high-speed pump is designed for transferring diesel fuel, fresh water, light oils, and glycol antifreeze in marine, industrial, and automotive applications. The pump body is constructed of nickel-plated brass with a stainless steel shaft and helical bronze gears. Motor protection is rated IP67 and ISO 8849 Marine, making it suited for wet or marine environments. The unit is self-priming to 4.9 feet (1.5 m), draws 6 amps at 120 watts, and requires a 10-amp fuse. Port connections are 3/8 in. BSP female and 3/8 in. NPT male. An EMI filter is integrated internally; the unit is not compatible with PWM speed controllers. The pump can run dry for a maximum of 20 minutes and includes a recommendation to use a strainer in service.
