This is a Pepperl+Fuchs RL28-8-H-1500-LAS/47/105 background suppression sensor. The nameplate reads PEPPERL+FUCHS, 68307 Mannheim, Germany, Part No. 180708, RL28-8-H-1500-LAS/47/105, UB = 10-30 V DC, Class 2, Type 1 enclosure, with CE and cULus Listed marks (Ind. Cont. Eq. 57M3) and a pin diagram showing +UB, Q-bar, 0V and Q on pins 1 to 4, with pin 5 blank. A yellow label reads Class 1 Laser Product, IEC 60825-1:2007 certified, complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11 except for deviations pursuant to Laser Notice No. 50, dated June 24, 2007. A second small label has a data matrix code and a number that is partly obscured. No serial number or country of origin is marked.

The housing is green and black plastic with an M12 male connector on one end, one hexagonal mounting hole and one slotted mounting hole, and a red diamond marking and a dark red lens window on the front. The green housing has a few small dark marks near the top edge.

Sold as surplus, untested. This unit has not been powered on or tested by MRO Exchange, and the laser, outputs and connector have not been verified.
