The Marathon Electric 5K36PNB111A is a 3/4 HP three phase AC induction motor manufactured in Wausau, Wisconsin under catalog number K161. This unit is designed for general purpose applications on pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, conveyors, and similar industrial machinery. Nameplate data confirms a dual voltage rating of 208 to 230 / 460 VAC, 60 Hz, with full load current draw of 2.8 to 2.8 / 1.4 amps. The motor operates at 1725 RPM under load and is rated for continuous duty service.
Construction is totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) on a NEMA 56 frame with a rigid base mount and a 5/8 inch keyed output shaft. The motor carries a 1.25 service factor, Class B insulation, NEMA Design B classification, and Code K locked rotor designation. Maximum ambient operating temperature is rated at 40 degrees C. Permanently lubricated ball bearings are used at both ends, eliminating the need for field relubrication. The unit is UL recognized and CSA certified. Assembled in Mexico. A separate L S Co. motor identification tag stamped 6531 is mounted to the frame. The motor is sold in used industrial surplus condition as removed from prior service.
