The Marathon Electric Globetrotter GT1005, part number 182TTFC6076, is a NEMA Premium efficiency three phase AC induction motor rated for 1.5 HP at 60 Hz and 1 HP at 50 Hz operation. Built on a 182T cast iron frame with TEFC enclosure rated IP44 IC41, this motor is designed for general purpose industrial applications including pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, and machine tool drives. At 60 Hz the motor operates at 1185 RPM with full load amps of 4.9 to 4.8 at 208 to 230 volts or 2.4 amps at 460 volts. Service factor is 1.15 with a power factor of 0.69 and nominal efficiency of 87.5 percent. The unit carries Class F insulation with an 80 degree C temperature rise rating and 40 degree C ambient. Design B with Code L starting characteristics is suitable for across the line or VFD operation, supporting PWM VFD duty at 10:1 variable torque and 1.0 service factor. Shaft end bearing is 6206ZZC3 and opposite end bearing is 6205ZZC3. The motor includes a lifting eye bolt, F1 mounting configuration reversible to F2, and a side mounted conduit box. UL, CSA, and CE certifications are present on the nameplate. Date code 03/13 indicates a March 2013 manufacture date.
